This volume reviews recent studies on antibiotics in Japan. ssn-Lactams and
other antimicrobial agents are described, with particular emphasis given to
oral cephalosporins, and parenteral cephems and related compounds pertaining to compound synthesis, drug efficiency, oral absorption, and physicochemical and
