Antibody-directed enzyme prodrug therapy (ADEPT) directly addresses the major problem in
cancer chemotherapy-its lack of selectivity. Antibody delivery combined with the
amplification provided by the enzymatic activation of prodrugs enables selection to be made between tumour and normal tissue.
