Book review: The Best way to brush up on your pharmacology!
I love this book. It breaks down pharmacologic drugs by system (ie. drugs used on the GI system, abx, etc.) and explains them in very simple terms while still being entertaining. This book does not… Doctors can't keep track of every detail about every medication. So, it's essential that patients read about meds before taking them. Sometimes, however, the information just doesn't make sense to us.
