Abstract The aims of this study were to examine the safety, feasibility, and efficacy of nicotine patch therapy in a population of adolescents in treatment for substance and behavioral problems. In addition, variables that predict
smoking cessation were investigated. Demographic and descriptive variables were also compared among males and females. Participants participated in a 10-week treatment phase and were assessed at intake for
